Possibly the most luxurious bathroom ever rendered. I wanted to add an element of fairytale to this, with mist coming in from the forest outside. I modeled, textured, and lit this scene using 3ds Max and composited it in Photoshop.
This is a lobby I designed based on a memory of a place I passed by on E. 12th Street in New York City about 15 years ago. It was a time capsule: mint green color palette, dramatic central chandelier, all original mid-century furniture. I never saw the place again, and I'm guessing it's been sadly redecorated after all this time, but I could never get that lobby out of my head in all these years, and wanted to make a tribute to it.
My own interior design, done in art deco style. I wanted the warm glow of late afternoon light combined with a roaring fire and soft sconce and pendant lighting.
My own interior design, based on a "boudoir" room modeled for a client of Redundant Pixel. A boudoir is a woman's private sitting room or salon. The original was very bright and beige; I wanted to make it a little more true to its name, with a nod to "boudoir photography." I added my dog to the render in Photoshop.
I wanted to make a render of a beer served in a mason jar in a sort of rough, southern diner-y environment. I modeled, textured, lit, and rendered this scene in 3DS Max with VRay 2.4.
I started out with a reference image of a bathroom from House Beautiful, then changed the design, modeled, textured, and lit it in 3DS Max with VRay. It went through many iterations of design before coming to this conclusion. The curtains are animated using a cloth modifier.
